Business Development Associate - Commission Only

We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Associate who’s ready to help fill our flights and help our team soar.
If you’ve got experience onboard another agency airline, are equally comfortable in the cockpit of sales and marketing, and know how to fly high with go-to-market strategies — then buckle up, because this flight is ready for takeoff!
Your Flight Plan:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, industry events,
partnerships, and referrals.
Execute outreach campaigns via email, phone, or social platforms to initiate
conversations.
Maintain and update CRM records with accurate lead and activity information.
Discovery & Client Engagement
Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to understand their goals,
challenges, and needs.
Clearly communicate the value of Stratosphere’s services and tailor
conversations to each prospect’s situation.
Qualify opportunities based on budget, timeline, and alignment with agency
services.
Sales Pipeline Management
Move prospects through the sales funnel with transparency and urgency.
Coordinate with the Growth & Revenue Director and contract review team to
ensure accurate proposals.
Track progress toward sales goals and forecast upcoming opportunities.
Client Advocacy & Collaboration
Represent the client’s perspective in internal discussions during proposal
development.
Ensure smooth handoffs to delivery teams once contracts are signed.
Follow up post-sale to ensure client expectations are being met early in the
relationship.
Partnership & Network Development
Build relationships with complementary partners or organizations that can
generate referrals.
Attend industry events or digital forums to increase visibility and generate leads.
Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation campaigns and outreach
messaging.
Closing & Revenue Growth
Negotiate and close deals that align with company goals and profitability targets.
Ensure that all contracts, pricing, and scope details are correct before handoff.
Consistently hit or exceed individual and departmental revenue targets.
What You Bring on Board:
Minimum of 5+ years of successful experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within a digital marketing agency or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience with the full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, GTM strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience selling retainer-based services is a plus.
Familiarity with the collision repair shop industry or other services industries is highly desirable.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen and understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, etc.).
Ability to develop and articulate compelling value propositions.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and Google Workspace.
Experience with, and a passion to embrace AI.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
